Aff524 As Wallpaper

In creation I realised that this was a really nice and well-balanced Belle Epoque 2 wallpaper pattern that produced just the right effect to create a modern decorated wall surface.
The set that is used represents a living room in a mid-century type house although this is not intended to be a period wallpaper but a modern wallpaper such as could be used today. The effect when used at a relatively small-scale, as Belle Epoque 2 should be, is to produce a wall that shows the dimensions running laterally along the wall, in this case towards the window and door out into the garden.
The background colour has been deepened slightly to give the room a warm and sunny aspect because in the original colouring it did tend to look a little too bright and clinical.
If you wish, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other designs and patterns for interiors on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
Below is a link to a product on Amazon UK for Color And Pattern, a book about pattern creation by Khristian Howell which I found so useful (and still do and still use). It is well worth a look.
